Vallarta Whales is a pioneer in Whale Watching and Ecotourism in Puerto Vallarta and Banderas Bay México. Since 1995 Vallarta Whales has been operated and directed by Oceanologist and Certified Naturalist Guide Isabel Cárdenas.
Our tours are designed for those who want to be in touch with nature and understand our environment, while having fun and enjoying unforgettable experiences, due to the fact that we handle small groups, we make certain that you will enjoy your expedition to the maximum.
Isabel Cárdenas has been participating in research, conservation and educational projects in Puerto Vallarta and Banderas Bay. For over 20 years Isabel is committed to responsible Whale Watching and conservation of natural resources, organizing workshops, courses, contests, even leading a radio show. Since she has a certification from Educational Federal Authorities, can teach environmental workshops and courses with curricular value.

Private Tour and Services
Whale Watching is a recreational activity regulated by the Mexican Environmental Authorities (SEMARNAT) and Tourism (SECTUR). In order to get close to the whales, the boat must have a permit from the competent authorities and follow certain guidelines. Make sure to conduct whale watching responsibly. The Official Whale Watching Season 2022 is open from December 8th and ends on March 23th.
